Professional Summary

Deon completed his B.Com Law degree in 1997. After obtaining this degree he applied his accounting skills for two years at a number of businesses in the United Kingdom, whilst enrolled for his LL.B degree. Upon his return to South Africa Deon served as a Judge’s clerk in the High Court, before joining Honey Attorneys. Deon started his career at Honey Attorneys in 2000 as a candidate attorney and, after completing his LL.B degree through UNISA in 2001, he was admitted as attorney in 2002 and later as a conveyancer in 2004. He was appointed as the Director in Honey Attorneys’ corporate and commercial and property law department in 2006.

Experience

Deon is a director in Honey Attorneys’ corporate and commercial and property law department.  Deon also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning Law through the University of the Free State in 2013 and assists a variety of corporate clients in restructuring ventures.  He also offers a wide range of practical commercial solutions to entities and private individuals facing the inevitable challenges in the modern economy.
